Volcanoes are results of  Lava flowing on the earth's surface. There are more than thousand volcanoes in the world.

Volcanoes are born near the plates of earth. Volcano eruption is a natural disaster. Lava damages to earth's surface but volcano eruptions are made beautiful volcanic forms. when the lava flowing on earth it's over heat release to the atmosphere. Hundreds of lives, properties are destroyed by volcanoes.

                     Mauna Loa   -      Hawaii

 

Volcanoes take a long time for originate and eruption. After the some eruptions , Volcano's mouth becomes a lake ( because of rain water ) 


ex: Lake Titicaca

 




 So ,  Fortunately There are no volcanoes in Sri Lanka
